Having healthy foods and beverages close at hand can make those slim down, shape up or live healthier resolutions doable and enjoyable. Check out some of our favorites for quick, healthy, herb and produce packed yumminess! We even have a homemade version of that gator-y sports beverage if you’re ramping up the workouts!

Natural Sports Drink

  • 3-1/2 cups cold water
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt

Mix all ingredients together and store in the refrigerator. Yields  1 quart.

Per 8oz portion: 60 calories, 15 g carbohydrate, 0 g protein, 0 g fat, 0 g fiber, 75 mg sodium, 115 mg
