Roasted Pumpkin Seeds

  • 1 1/2 cups pumpkin seeds
  • 2 teaspoon melted butter or oil
  • Salt, garlic powder or seasoning salt


Preheat oven to 300°F. In a colander, rinse the seeds under running water to clean the strings and pulp off. Place seeds into a bowl with oil or melted butter and mix to coat. Sprinkle seeds with seasoning of your choice. Spread seeds in a single layer on a greased cookie sheet. Bake until golden brown, stirring occasionally, approximately 30 minutes.
